Food Allergy
Food allergy is an over immune response that is triggered by certain foods such as peanuts, milk, eggs,
etc.
You might have a food allergy if you get symptoms shortly after eating a specific food. Key symptoms include
hives, hoarse voice, wheezing, or skin symptoms. Well proven treatment of food allergy is known to avoid food that
cause the allergy. Allergy shots or probiotics have not been clearly proven. However, not a few food allergies could be
treated by acupuncture and natural herb. Since those foods are all natural ingredients necessary in human body,
allergy seems more restricting the chance of utilizing resources than avoiding doing harm on human body. In that
sense, Eastern Medicine has different point of view and approach to the food allergy problem Eastern Medicine think
we need to cope with food allergies a little more positively than just to stay away from it. One of primary mission of
acupuncture and natural herb in our body is, mainly by balancing each system's organ function, to enhance immune
system which is a key protecting element also in the food allergy. By transforming our body close to the nature, human
body system gets in harmony with natural products in its digesting. By strengthening our GI systems and inducing
best co operation from other organs, human body can handle more foods with skills and have better chance of
maximizing our recourses. That could be most naturally achieved by acupuncture and herbs. That, we believe, could
result in the leveling up the quality of life also.
In our Eastern Medicine system, we highly put importance on the health of small intestine, regarding allergy symptom. Traditionally small intestine is believed to function descreting digested fine essence from rough residues of food material. From this point of view small intestine is most responsible on the key to allergy treatment, especially food allergy. That theory is realized as leaky gut syndrome in modern health field. If the intestine damaged and fails to process food normally, then poorly digested food and bad bacteria could penetrate into the human organs and tissues directly. That causes our immune system to fight inside vehemently resulting in food and skin allergy.
